Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an Olympic gold medalist gymnast was the one who was the one who led the U.S. to victory in both 2012 and in 2016. She's won six Olympic medals all over the world she was also a part of two gold-medal-winning World Championships teams. Aly is a native of Needham in Massachusetts. Her passion for gymnastics can be traced to an 18-month old "mommy and me" class. Aly Raisman is a defender of body positivity, a leader both on the floor and off, and she spoke about Larry Nassar during his sentencing hearing. Aly Raisman was born in 1994 and began gymnastics career very early in her age. She assisted her country's U.S. Gymnastics Team win the 2011 World Championships. After that she won two gold medals, one in the team competition and the other in the individual floor exercises--alongside a bronze in the beam competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Raisman was back at the Olympics twice in Rio in 2016. She won two silvers, one in the all-around as well as floor exercises, and the other in the gymnastics women's team contest. Raisman made a shocking revelation in 2017. The athlete had been victimized sexually by her team's physician Larry Nassar. In the subsequent year, Raisman sued USA Gymnastics.
